Politics on its worst

It is not right to blame the Political crisis of today to the Catholic Church. By doing so, politicians were ruining the difference between politics and religion. In our country, politics and religion are two different bodies. Independent of each other, but each has their own sovereignty.
For the passing of the con-ass, it is not that new that people would go against this. For Pete's sake, the church has nothing to do with each person's individual DECISION. it is their own choice, heated by the trapo that those politicians were.
I guess, it is a hit below the belt that the Catholic Church be blamed for the rallies and other activities against the government. For, it is the fault of those politicians who passed the H.R. 1109, the con-ass.
It is like a masquerade to hide their plan for the continuation of the PGMA regime.
I think, those politicians should try to behave and please the people by making decisions that will be for the common good. Not for the elite's good that is now living at Malacanang Palace.

Lakers with 2 wins on the best-of-seven NBA finals

After the second game of the best-of-seven finals of the NBA Lakers had bagged the two games, leading them against the Magic. Though, we cannot still say that the Lakers would be bagging the title for this season, but I guess, the two games is sign that the Lakers is as serious as ever than in their previous school.
I guess, the Magic still had a big chance, but they must show it in the succeding games.
Hope to see more heart-pounding, throat-soaring games, that would make people shout for more.

Summer Escapade

Looking at my empty account, I heaved a sigh. What on earth shall I do with this...
The want to buy things with a limited resources creeps in. And it sucks when I look at those wants that I WANT to have. But then, reality bites in. I'm not in the position to buy those wants, I mean with today's economic meltdown, it is better to buy those needs than those wants. I guess, spending intelligently will help the family right now...

******************
Looking on the brighter side, Summer is about to end, and I still want to go to places but still, I can't. hmmm, this summer, I did apply to an online-tutorial and I really want to be accepted. It would help the family's finances. And I guess, I can also have some extra money that will go with this.
Hope the last interview today will go on well.... *sigh*

Obama: On the bid for hosting World Cup...

Like any Soccer fanatic President, U.S. President Barack Obama wants to be the host of the 2018 or the 2022 World Cup. The President's daughter were playing this field game. And as we know, the world cup is the most sought-after tournament in Soccer.
Next year, Officials of FIFA would be announcing who will host the 2018 cup; and England or Spain, were on the top. And U. S. Seems to be the favorite for the 2022.

Harry Potter 6

The long wait is over, after the change of Showing date from 2008 to 2009, Harry's fans are all screaming and wanting to see the boy wizard, or the "chosen one".
I'll admit it that I was fairytaled by Twilight, but I still think that HP is one super cool series that I have laid my eyes on it.
And I think, I'd still stick on HP no matter what. I would prefer brooms, wands, cauldrons and those spells and incantation that made Harry's world seemed so real to me.
I hope I still get my notice...
I'd love to ride the Hogwarts Express.
Go HP...

A dream in soccer field

Well, on May 27, the battle of the year would be held in Rome. Two of the most prominent teams in the world of soccer would have a face-off. The Manchester United against the Barcelona. I would trade my soccer studz for a ticket to Rome. Geee....
Well, I hope that this match would end in the same teary-eyed fashion way.
Well, I'm still thinking which team will I be.

All the governments around the world had been trying their best to beat this disease.
I hope that the victims of this disease won't die. Because it saddened me that a lot of people are suffering from this disease.

Revolutionary Road Review

This film, where Kate Winslet had won the best Supporting Actress in the Golden Globe award, together with Leonardo De Caprio, is such a disturbing film. I mean, it's so real, it can happen to any couple. The conflict between the couple had made a gap between the two. Amidst the existence of their children, there seemed to be an invisible barrier between the couple.

When the couple decided to go away, to lived in Paris, the son of their friend Milly was amazed. I mean, I can't forget his line.

"..Hopelessness? It takes a lot of gut to see hopelessness..."
This struck me in a much much deeper manner. In a place where you live, it takes a lot of courage to decide that that place is hopeless.

Amidst the nice plan they lay, some circumstances had stopped them. To cite some: a baby is coming, and Frank(De Carpio) is promoted.
Thsi had brought a lot of quarrel. A lot of misunderstanding. Until April(Winslet) had decided to kill the baby. And killing herself on the process.

This film is good. It will ask you something that is out of place in this world. Something that is real.

It had showed the face of relationship in many forms, through the families living in Revolutionary Road.

Soccer Festival

My soccer team will be holding its annual activity the Foot festival that have been part of our tradition. And the theme for this year is "12 years of soccer-kickin' good". Isn't it cute? *giggles*
A lot of invitation were sent to a variety of schools that we know has ladies soccer team, ranging from high schoolers to college students. And I think, their acceptance of this invitation would be a great chance for each one of us to prove our soccer skills, passion and our heart for this sport.
We had done our part to make this event a success, and the success of this activity would be based on the day itself, February 21, 2009, Saturday at the Administration field at University of the Philippines Mindanao. Hope a lot of people would come and see us. I mean, this is part of the foundation week of the university.

Well, I hope we'll have some fun on that day and I hope, that day won't be just part of your regular Saturday. Good day!!!
